    • 90210cast.jpgThe CW has been adding to their 90210 spin-off cast in recent weeks. A new promotional picture was released by the network recently, and the cast looks just as beautiful as the original cast. One member was missing, and that missing link has been added just today.

Rob Estes is set to join the 90210 cast as a father that brings his family to Beverly Hills. You might remember Estes from his roles on Melrose Place and Silk Stalkings. He was most recently seen on the now canceled Women’s Murder Club. Tori Spelling and Jennie Garth have also signed onto the cast in recurring roles. Ian Ziering might also be joining the cast. I saw a promotional spot for the series during Supernatural next week, and the music is unmistakable. CW looks to be pulling out all the stops for this series.

However, some are saying the network is on a decline, and if things don’t pick up soon the network might disappear entirely. Many of their popular series are heading into their final seasons - Smallville and Supernatural among them. The network comes in dead last in the ratings race, and they aren’t looking to change all that much in the months ahead. They might be picking up Moonlight, as I stated last week, but there is no official word on that as of yet.

Moonlight aired what could be its series finale on Friday night with what could be a nice ending if the series isn’t picked. Mick and Beth are together, and as the door closed on them that is what fans wanted. We’ll have to wait and see if the series lives on over on another network. The fans haven’t given up hope yet. Fan sites to fight the cancellation have popped up since the news broke. They want their show back, and they will do what they can to save it. We will see if they are able to do enough.
