    • Word late last week from E! Online pronounced the death of three ABC series - Pushing Daisies, Eli Stone and Dirty, Sexy, Money. Not three of ABC’s best series, but they had good fanbases that are now disappointed about losing their favorite shows. Fans have already started trying to fight the cancellations, but there might not be much they can do. Fans of Pushing Daisies knew their show might be canceled weeks ago, so they started sending in buds to ABC’s main men.

Word has it that Life on Mars might soon be joining them on the chopping block. These series just didn’t have the ratings needed for the network to keep them. Other series with low ratings have also been canceled on other networks as well. My Own Worst Enemy just met the same fate two weeks ago. However, two other series on NBC with low ratings have stayed safe, and they have even received full season orders.

Those two series are Life and Knight Rider. We know Knight Rider is making some changes to keep things going in the right direction. We’ll just have to see if they can keep things up enough for a second season order. Another series we know is set to end its run its Fox’s Prison Break. That series will wrap up its run in the Spring. Hard to see all these series, but it really does become a matter of the numbers. If they aren’t there, a show won’t be kept.
