American Idol Heads To Disney!
-
Disney has joined with American Idol to bring the show to its Orlando theme park as an attraction later this year. Guests will be able to sign up to first perform in front of a Disney casting producer and then if they are good enough in front of an audience and judges. Those still in the competition each day will then perform in a grand finale show where the prize is a chance to be one of the first in line when American Idol holds auditions in their region. The attraction will be held at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, which until recently was called Disney-MGM Studios.American Idol is still as big as it ever was. The top twenty-four in this year’s competition are set to be announced this week, and former American Idolwinner, Carrie Underwood, won Best Female Country Vocal at last night’s Grammy Award’s. She also was one of the opening acts for the show that aired on CBS last which had a lot of surprises including the reuniting of Morris Day & The Time, and a duet with current sensation Beyonce with Tina Turner. For a woman her age, Turner still has it, and she was one of the highlights of the night.
American Idol still pulls in the ratings, and this new attraction set to hit Disney by the end of the year will help make even more Idol hopefuls dreams come true. American Idol is set for at least one more season in contract. Does this attraction mean we’re set for even more American Idol in our future? Will we see Simon, Paula and Randy continue on or we will see new judges come in after 2009? That remains to be seen!

eeehh if the show is still popular when the judges contracts are up, they will obviously just re-new their contracts. if its not, i think the show will be cancelled. i dont think it would work with different judges, especially not now when the show isnt new anymore.
