The Officewebisodes will take you along with the characters as they try to find out just what the heck is happening to Kevin’s money. He needs help and fast in order to pay off some gambling debts. This is the second series of webisodes for the series. The first went live two years ago, and The Office was the first to use these as a medium.

As for Heroes, the webisodes planned for that series will take us through a crazy trip as we get a deeper look at some with powers and watch how they deal with it. Heroes is set to return to NBC in September, and word was leaked this week that Ali Larter would indeed be a part of the series this season, even with her character being a part of an explosion last season. Word has it though Ali Larter is returning not as either of her former identities, but as a new doppleganger. This new persona will have an entirely new power! Sounds exciting. I can’t wait.

As far as television goes, the Kiefer Sutherland series, 24, looks to be ready if a strike does happen. They have production mostly wrapped up on both the season and the movie prequel set to air this fall. Other series have at least several episodes of their next seasons already in the can and ready to go. These include such hits as Heroes and Grey’s Anatomy. However, a new season might be delayed. The ABC series has been under fire this week because of the comments made by one of the series’ stars.

Katherine Heigl plays Izzie Stevens on Grey’s Anatomy, and earlier this week she pulled herself out of contention for this year’s Emmy race. She won an Emmy last year for her role, but this year she doesn’t feel that there was enough there for her to receive a nomination. This has caused quite a stir among fans and non-fans of the show. Some see her words as ungrateful and biting the hand that has fed her so much success.

One writer has spoken out about her comments, and some are saying that Heigl’s time on the show is short. We all know they have no problems removing someone from the cast if an issue arises. Look at what happened with Isaiah Washington at the end of season two. Time will only tell if Heigl remains a part of the Grey’s Anatomy family.

Hayden herself just turned eighteen this past summer, while her co-star is thirty. The age gap doesn’t seem to effect the two of them at all. Apparently, her family adores Milo, and he even went back to New York over the holidays to visit with her entire family. Is this a perfect match? That is too soon to tell. The two appear to have started dating in September, but both denied it until recently. They were just close friends to all that asked.

As for Heroes, the last episode of the year aired on December 3rd, and this seems to be the second season finale. This is due to the strike. Production was shut down early on the show, and the show’s creator almost left the series over strike issues. We’ll have to wait and see if Heroes makes its return in Fall 2008. As a series, it has had its strong moments, but there have been episodes that left me completely cold. In my opinion, some of the series best moments happened in its first season. The second season changed things too much and added too many new faces to an already large cast.

The protest, which involved paddling off-shore on surfboards in an attempt to block the fishing boats has been declared illegal by Japanese officials. Hayden told E! I learned today that I have an arrest warrant out for me in Japan because of what I did for Save The Whales. I wonder if this will have any effect on Heroes production. If, for instance, Claire was to be involved in a scene set in Japan along with Hiro (possible!) they’ll probably be needing to make use of a green screen

More irritatingly, the planned Heroes spin-off, “Origins”, has also been axed due to financial concerns. There were originally 6 shows planned, featuring individual stories surrounding new characters coming into the show. Actors expected to appear in the spin-off included Kevin Smith, Eli Roth, Michael Dougherty and John August.

The original intention for “Origins” was to keep people interested and discussing the show during it’s off-air season, however, it’s likely that the upcoming Writers Guild of America strike is the main cause of the cut. With Heroes involving such complicated plots, which are very hard for people to get back into after missing a few episodes, I felt that “Origins” was something of a necessity. I’ll be interested to see what effect the cut has on the popularity of the show, and especially audience interaction with the “Heroes 360 Experience“.

Picture 01: Kaito’s death

This has been and gone, Kaito was obviously killed by this series “big nasty” so this first painting plays a fairly important role.

Picture 02: Claire fakes her death

As we saw in The Line, Claire and the nerdy flying kid (West) decided to get back at bitchy cheerleader girl by faking Claire’s death. The fact that this seemingly unimportant event has been painted by Isaac suggests that it’s going to play a fairly pivitol role in the rest of the series, which leads me to belief someone saw the two of them using their powers, potentially blowing Claire’ hiding.

Picture 03: The vaccine

Picture 03 shows a white hand holding a vile of some form of chemical. I suspect this is probably the modified virus Dr. Suresh was told, but refused, to inject into Monica. My hunch is that this modified version of the virus is capable of crossing over into normal humans, perhaps leading the “evacuated” New York Peter found himself in at the end of The Line.

Picture 04: Trapped blonde girl

I’m not sure who the blonde girl depicted here is. It doesn’t look like the previous paintings Isaac did of Claire, which leaves Nicky and Elle. Nicky was bought back into play at the end of The Line, which makes me think it’s her. She’s been told to work with Suresh, maybe he locks her in a room while he tries to bring down the company.

Picture 05: Peter in the future

Apparently more information about this painting will be revealed in next weeks show (”Out of time”), it’s quite a tough one to theorise on as there’s very little of interest depicted. The only thing that’s notable is the scar around Peter’s eye.

Picture 06: Hiro vs. Kensei

This was bound to happen. Kensei turned Hiro over to Whitebeard in The Line after seeing him moving in on his girl, Hiro’s obviously not going to be killed by Kensei as he has such a leading role, but this must be notable to have been painted by Isaac. When you can travel through time, there are any number of things that could happen, so I’m looking for any theories you may have about this one

Picture 07: Suresh holding a smoking gun

There are any number of people Suresh could have shot, my first thought was that it was Bob from “The Company”. However, The company seem to be turning him at the moment, helping Molly and then choosing to be all ethical and not to test their modified strain of the virus on Monica. This, along with Picture 08, has left another train of thought in my mind.

Picture 08: Bennett — Dead!

This painting clearly shows Bennett after being shot in the eye. A coincidence then that picture 07 showed Mohinder holding a smoking gun, no? I suspect that Suresh has been turned and has become loyal to the company. Either that or Bennett has. Either way, I’m certain that it’s Suresh that shot Bennett. Also notable about this painting is Claire and a mysterious man in the background. Is it me, or does the man look remarkably like Nathan?
