    • If there is one network that keeps me scratching my head lately, it is NBC. They keep making changes to their line-up. They move things around, take things completely off the air, and now they are making a change that will effect what people see after the start of the new year. This shake-up involves three series - Life, Heroes and Chuck. Instead of the series returning in January from the Christmas hiatus, they will take another month off from the network and return in February.

Life and Heroes have both been struggling this season, so perhaps there is some hope that taking some time away from the series will help the series. We won’t know until the series return. Other changes being made at NBC include the moving of Crusoe to Saturday night. Yes, you read that night. If Friday night is a series standing at death’s door, Saturday night is lowering it into the ground in a coffin. NBC is hoping to revive Lipstick Jungle and put it in the time slot now owned by Crusoe. Not sure if that will work.

Just recently, it was thought that Lipstick Jungle was canceled, but somehow it was saved. My Own Worst Enemy wasn’t as lucky, and one of the stars of the series has spoken out about the cancellation of the series.  Madchen Amick, who also appears on Showtime’s Californication, says when you look at DVR statistics the series has been a hit. I actually liked the series, but I stopped watching as soon as its end was called. Don’t get too attached to something you know will be gone!
