    • The big event of the week last week was the TCA’s. This week it was Comic Con in San Diego. Everyone seems to be talking about the items revealed during the presentations for many popular series and upcoming movies. Lost was quiet as usual, but they did make a few announcements. The creators behind Lost have mastered the art of telling the fans almost nothing at all, but we do know we will see more of Jin, Locke and even Rousseau next season. They will also start using some other methods to move the story forward than flashbacks and flash forwards.

As for NBC hit Heroes, they showed a lot at this year’s presentation. They premiered almost an entire episode of the series for those in attendance. Viewership was down last season, and the season was cut short due to the writer’s strike. The people behind Heroes know they have a lot to prove with this next season. They need to get their viewers from season one back. I even gave up halfway through season two, but I do have the episodes to watch and I have season one on DVD.

Season two comes out on DVD at the end of August just in time for the start of the next season. Reaction to the episode shown at Comic Con has been good so far, so maybe they have figured out how to fix what they broke in season two. A lot more happened at Comic Con this past weekend, and it is hard to put it all together. I do know it has made me excited to see what happens next!
