- From Wisteria Lane to Calle Manzanares, Desperate Housewives is getting Latinized! Telemundo has announced the cast of an upcoming spanish version of Desperate Housewives. The show is primarily aimed at the large hispanic audience in the U.S and has been produced in Argentina.
  
  The cast announced include Mexican actresses Lucia Mendez and Ana Serradilla in the roles of Mary Alice Young and Gabby Solis, Venezuelan actress Scarlet Ortiz as Susan Mayer and Colombian actress Lorna Paz as Lynette Scavo. The characters names will likely be substituted with Spanish alternatives, but other than that the plot’s will be very similar.
