The Writers Strike is putting a lot of financial pressure on NBC, now in it’s 10th day. The latest effect of the strike is NBC’s withdrawal from Television Critics Association’s winter tour.

NBC has announced concerns that the big celebrity’s will be unwilling to endorse and provide publicity for the stations until the strike is resolved. We’ve already seen certain actors supporting the WGA so this is very easy to believe.

With a presentation at the winter tour costing upwards of $500,000, you need to be very sure that you’ll get a certain support and publicity out of the event, as a result ABC and Fox will probably follow in NBC’s footsteps.
