- One of my favorite comedians has to be George Lopez. I may not have caught his series when it was on the air, but it is now something I see myself getting sucked into as the repeat episodes have been airing on Nick at Nite. I miss my Roseanne fix, but George slid right in and took over for me quite nicely. Not always appropriate, but always one that can get me laughing, George Lopez brought his own style of comedy to his series.
  
  Now he is bringing his own style of comedy to a talk show. TBS has announced that George Lopez will head a new talk show in their network. Lopez will take to the stage four nights a week, Monday through Thursday at 11pm. The network is saying his series won’t be like the other late night series currently on air, but it will go back to the type of series Arsenio Hall used to have years ago. I always loved Arsenio’s show, and I didn’t miss an episode. Well, when I was allowed to stay up that late!
  
  The late night show, which has no title as of yet, is being called ‘an outdoor street party’ by the network. I am actually excited to see what TBS and George Lopez do here. The series won’t hit late night until November, so we have just a bit of wait before we find out what Lopez has in store for us. Some new blood to the late night scene would be appreciated. Things are certainly set for some shaking up in the months ahead with all of the changes.
