    • 0000034708_20061021012159.jpgThere are changes on the horizon for the USA network series, Law & Order: Criminal Intent. One actor is on the way out, while another is on the way in. It is being reported that Chris Noth is exiting the series. He was last scene on the big screen as Carrie’s guy Big in the Sex & The City movie released in May. On Law & Order, Noth has played Detective Mike Logan, and he has been a staple of the Law & Order franchise for some time now.

Coming in to fill the void is actor Jeff Goldblum. A big name to fill a big empty void on the series once Detective Logan leaves. Goldblum is known for his roles in films such as The Fly and Jurassic Park. We can try to ignore his appearance in Earth Girls Are Easy, even if I did just see it on cable not too long ago. Goldblum is one of those hit or miss actors, but I have always enjoyed his work. The Fly has always been a favorite, and Jurassic Park was always the best in that series of movies.

Law & Order: Criminal Intent is entering its eighth season when it returns on the USA network. I’ve never watched much of Law & Order, but I notice good television when I do manage to take a peek. There is just way too much good television on to fit more into my schedule, even with DVR. I don’t see Law & Order going anywhere for some time to come.
