    • Yesterday, I focused on some of the happenings over at 90210, but that isn’t the only series they have on their network. There has also been some news on some other CW programming pop up in the last week. Gossip Girl, which airs on CW on Monday night has had their season extended. The show is doing good with ratings, so the powers that be ordered two more episodes for this season. Blake Lively also stood up and put out a video supporting her presidential candidate of choice this week too.

As for CW’s Sunday night line-up, that is being put on hold. The ratings aren’t anywhere the network would like them to be, so they are pulling the line-up for six weeks, so that scripts can be re-worked. This is never a good sign. Fox did the same with two of its series last month, but those series, 24 and Dollhouse, do not premiere until January. They have some time there. Right now, these shows were on the air and in play. Having them pulled now doesn’t show any confidence at all on the part of CW.

Over the summer, some wanted CW to pick up Moonlight for the Sunday night line-up. CBS had axed the series, but fans wanted it still on the air anywhere that would take it. CW passed on Moonlight, and now you have to wonder how smart a decision was on their part. Moonlight would have pulled in some viewers. It also would have gone up against True Blood, HBO’s vampire series. Time these two right, and viewers would have one very vampy Sunday night. What do you think?
