- The popular 1980s series is returning to the small screen this spring in the form of a new two hour television movie. Work has just begun on the project, and we just had our first look at the all new KITT car. The plot as it stands now has Mike Tracer, the son of David Hasselhoff’s Michael Knight, joining the Knight Foundation to fight against evil military contractors. Tracer is the son Knight never knew about, and Hasselhoff is set to appear in the television movie hitting NBC.
  
  The new KITT looks absolutely amazing, and as a fan of the series I am excited to see this one brought back. At least for the movie. If things go well ratings wise for the film, we might see a new series next fall. Only time will tell on that front. It would be nice to see an updated Knight Rider take the streets weekly again. In its day, Knight Rider was one of the more popular series creating a new star out of David Hasselhoff in the process.
  
  Following Knight Rider, Hasselhoff hit the beach in another popular television series, Baywatch. Look for the new Knight Rider to hit NBC this spring. For now, you can now check out the all-new KITT car. Gone is the Pontiac TransAm. Now we have a Ford Shelby GT! What do you think?
