    • With the strike, the fate of many series is up in the air. The most affected being those new series that premiered in the fall. Several face possibly getting lost in the shuffle and disappearing off the radar.  Current series are also facing troubles. Lost ended its third season in May with an extra long hiatus ahead of them. The series has been set to return after nine months in February of 2008. However, when the strike began, people began to wonder if the show would return.

The plan as it was for Lost was to play season four from beginning to end with a total of sixteen episodes. The first eight were mostly complete before the strike began. The remaining episodes were the issue.  ABC and the people behind Lost were looking to continue the show’s hiatus until Fall 2008, but now it looks like the series is moving forward with the fourth season premiering in February. A trailer for the series is airing in movie theaters now, and Coming Soon has a look at it the trailer, which you can see below.

I am an avid Lost fan, and I have been from the beginning. Season two left me a little lost, but season three picked up the pace, and I am looking forward to seeing how things play out when the series makes it return this February. We’ll have to keep our fingers crossed that plans for its return continue to move forward.
