    • If there is one network that is making big changes when it comes to their line-up in the coming months, it is NBC. Everyone seems to have their eye on the network that used to be home to must see television. Those days are long behind us, and the network seems to be struggling where it used to be the top at the television game. Next fall we will see the ten o’clock hour change from dramas to a nightly prime time dose of Jay Leno. We thought we were rid of him when he left The Tonight Show, but it seems NBC is counting on Jay Leno to fix part of their problems.

News from The Hollywood Reporter is that a new series has been given the go ahead for a pilot episode. Mercy will follow three nurses as they deal with their professional and personal lives. The series is being played as a drama with some comedy elements. The series will come from Universal Media Studios and will be written by the same writer behind another popular NBC series, Liz Helden from Friday Night Lights.

All of this comes along with a small bit of disturbing yet humorous news, props from bubble series Lipstick Jungle seem to have started to hit eBay. This doesn’t look all that promising for the series. Word of it first being canceled hit a couple of months ago, but after fan reaction the network stepped back from yanking the series. Are the days for Lipstick Jungle definitely numbered?
