- TVguide.com is reporting that NBC has plans for a spin-off of hit show, The Office. Apparently it would happen much the same way as Private Practice spun-off Grey’s Anatomy. However, there will apparently be no cross-over in the casts — unlike Practice, which stole Grey’s regular Kate Walsh to anchor the new series, the proposed Office 2 is not expected to include any of the mother ship’s core cast.
  
  There seems to be a lot of opposition to the idea, which I find comical as the US version of the office is essentially a spin-off of the original UK version which was wildly successful. I personally don’t watch the office, so I’d love to hear everyone else thoughts on the plan.
