    • News from Entertainment Weekly this week is that we have two new additions to the cast of Heroes for season three. One of the additions may be familiar to fans of Buffy The Vampire Slayer as Seth Green is set to join the cast. He is dragging along his buddy from Robot Chicken, Breckin Meyer. Both are set to appear in a multi-episode story arc that puts them as comic book geeks set to interact with one of the heroes.

No character names yet, and no idea just when in the season they will appear. Right now, NBC is still in full Olympic mode as Beijing 2008 captures the attention of the world. Both Green and Meyer are ideal casting for the role of comic book geeks though. Both are funny men, and I am sure they will do well in these new roles on the series. However, there is one small concern that I do have.

As we know, Heroes’ season two was cut short due to the writer’s strike. The season added more new faces, and I know that I personally ended up lost and this caused me to lose interest in the series. Those behind Heroes know they dropped the ball season two, and they plan to improve things with this upcoming season. People tuned in season one, but they saw a very different show season two. This made them switch off. Will they be able to get those viewers back this season? Only time will tell!
