- It doesn’t look like Rebecca Romijn will be returning to Ugly Betty any time soon! The actress was just cast in a new series set to hit ABC in the fall called Eastwick. Yes, we’ve talked about this one before. This is the one based on the 1987 movie, The Witches of Eastwick, which is also based on a book. The movie starred Jack Nicholson, Cher and Michelle Pfeiffer, and it was a campy hit.
  
  ABC had the idea to bring the story back to life in a modern day telling, and they have been working on the cast for it. Rebecca Romijn was the latest name added to the cast which already includes Lindsay Price. That actress was last seen in Lipstick Jungle. This isn’t the first Romijn and Price have worked together in a series before. Romijn and Price both starred in a short lived series Romijn had called Pepper Dennis. This series was one of the last to air on WB before it made the switch to CW when it joined forces with UPN.
  
  It was a good series that just didn’t make the cut to get picked up by the new network when they had to combine their programming. I actually enjoyed Pepper Dennis, and it was good to see Romijn on Ugly Betty. She had to leave that series to deal with her pregnancy, but now she is ready to get back to work. However, I do wish that included more of her character on Ugly Betty. That series is taking some time off at the end of the month to allow some new blood come in and try to survive for a fall pick-ups.
