    • Sunday there was a shake up announced with the behind the scenes action at Heroes. Variety is reporting that two of the show’s writers were fired by NBC. The two fired are Jesse Alexander and Jeph Loeb. The two have been with the series since the series began, and they were the ones responsible for the running of the series. They worked directly under Heroes creator, Tim Kring.

Season three has only continued a fall for the series that started out with a strong first season. Everyone watched season one, and it became a hit. Season two was hit by the writer’s strike. This cut the season early, and the series had no real direction in season two. This made the series hard to watch for many that fell in love with the series in its first season. The creators and writers promised that season three would be different.

However, fans are seeing more of the same. The series has been slipping in the ratings.Could firing the two men responsible help save this series? That is one question that comes to mind. Will new writers coming in save things? Or could  this be the beginning of the end? There is really no way to know what will happen to this series next.

I’ll admit even tuning out after the premiere of season three, and I had planned to give the show a fair shake with the new show. Something about Claire’s head being ripped off, but her being a-okay just didn’t set well with me. What do you think of Heroes? Will some behind the scenes changes make a difference?
