    • There are a lot of rumors surrounding this one this week, and many fans of the series are wondering if a second season for the series will even happen. Dollhouse came in on a Friday night line-up for Fox, which is never been a good sign of a series lasting.  Friday night on Fox has been known for quite a long time as a death night. When Fox placed Dollhouse and Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles on Friday night back in February, they said it wasn’t because they didn’t have faith in either series.

The Sarah Connor Chronicles ended its current season just last night, and we still have no way of knowing if that was just the season ender or the end of the series. The same thing happened to Dark Angel back in the day. Season two ended, and everyone thought it would be back for another season. Then in May the news came down that the show was done. I am really hoping that isn’t the case for The Sarah Connor Chronicles. The series had an explosive opening, followed by a slow start, but it picked up speed. I want to see it come back in the fall.

As for Dollhouse, there were thirteen episodes filmed for this season. However, it is being said the last episode is being held back from airing. Rumors of that hit twitter, but by the next day rumors were cleared up a little. There was thirteen episodes filmed, but one of them was the pilot episode that Fox asked Whedon to scrap.

Another episode was filmed as a coda episode, and this is the episode Fox is deciding not to air. It will be available on DVD when that hits, but we still have no word on this being the first season DVD set or the complete series. If the series is done, there is a chance of a movie at some point in the future. What do you think? Do you want more Dollhouse?
