    • Okay, I’ll admit this right now. I am not a Private Practice. When ABC grabbed Kate Walsh’s Addison Montgomery for a spin-off, I tuned in to watch the new show, but I absolutely hated it. I gave up on it a few episodes in, and I haven’t tuned in since. That is until now. The last few weeks, fans of Grey’s Anatomy and Private Practice have seen the show crossed over for a big television event. There is still one more week left in the crossover episodes, and those will air in the coming week.

Addison was brought back to Seattle Grace Hospital after her brother developed worms in the brain. In order to save his life, she brings him to Seattle Grace for Derek to operate. She brings Naomi along because now Naomi is dating Addison’s brother, and we even see Naomi’s ex show up along the way. Sam and Bailey seem to click a little bit, but we learn that seeing Sam moon over his ex-wife wakes up Bailey to the problems in her own marriage.

When the crisis with Archer is fixed, Addison gets thrown in with the gang on a pregnancy case. She also butts in with everyone. She talks to Callie about her new lesbian crush, Sloan about his thing with Little Grey and Alex about things with Izzie. All of this showed me one thing - Addison Montgomery belongs on Grey’s Anatomy. She adds something to the series. Will I tune in and watch Private Practice after this crossover ends? Probably not.

I know that is what ABC is hoping will happen, but I still don’t like the people on the series. I like Addison, and I’ll even admit to liking Sam and Naomi, but everyone else on the series annoys me. If we could somehow get those three over on Grey’s Anatomy, I’d be sold.
