The Biggest Loser 5 Debuts New Years Day
-

When we enter into a new year, many of us have our New Year’s resolutions in mind. Beginning January 1, 2008 at 8:00 p.m. Eastern Time 20 men and women will enter The Biggest Loser campus for the first time, and they’ll work on their New Year’s resolution to lose weight. Furthermore, The Biggest Loser 5 will introduce us to a whole new competition: teams of two working together to achieve their goal!
Alison Sweeney will return as host of The Biggest Loser 5. Also returning as trainers will be Bob Harper and Jillian Michaels. It seems Kim Lyons won’t be returning, but personally, I think Bob and Jillian are the two trainers to have. Nothing against Kim, of course, I just have my two favorites.
Not only will The Biggest Loser top of the New Year with a new competition, but they’re also marketing a new challenge—a challenge we can participate in: The Million Dollar Match-Up. If The Biggest Loser contestants inspire you, then join them as you try to lose weight from your home. That’s what The Million Dollar Match-Up is all about. The Biggest Loser 5’s goal is for Americans to lose a combined total of one million pounds during this season of The Biggest Loser. Do you think it can be done? Are you going to participate, and how much weight would you like to lose?
To find out the teams and learn more about each of them, visit The Biggest Loser website. There you can read each contestant’s bio, their relationship to each other, and you can even watch a video for a sneak peak of The Biggest Loser 5. Don’t forget to tune in to NBC for the 2 hour special premiere of The Biggest Loser 5 on New Year’s Day!
Until next time, may you and yours have a happy, safe and prosperous 2008!
