    • In a surprising move, the series Project Runwayis changing homes starting next fall. The series has had its home on Bravo, but on Monday it was announced that the show will be moving to Lifetime. This is a move that isn’t making Bravo or NBC Universal happy. In fact, they have filed a lawsuit against the company that created the series, Weinstein Co. Miramax, the Weinstein’s former company sold the series to NBC in 2003.

Now they have given rights to Lifetime before Bravo and NBC had any chance to say anything in the matter. At least that is what one side says. NBC is clearly upset about the series moving to Lifetime for its sixth season, which is set to start in November. One more season of the series will appear on Bravo sometime between now and then. Much will stay the same when the show moves networks. Model Heidi Klum will continue to host the series. The lawsuit for breach of contract was just filed yesterday in New York City. Lifetime is not included in the lawsuit in anyway.

Project Runway has been airing on Bravo since 2005, and it is one of the networks top series. The show has been nominated for Reality Competition Emmy’s three years running. However, it has never won in this category. This honor has gone to The Amazing Race. Just recently however, the show has won a Peabody Award. The almost four million fans that tune in to watch the show will have to remember to make the switch when the sixth season of the series premieres come November.
