    • The TV Critic’s Press Tour is in full swing in Los Angeles this week, and this is where we are learning what is ahead for us on our favorite television series next season. Fox opened up the TCA’s on Monday by announcing that Jessica King had been forced to leave the competition because of injury. Nigel wouldn’t tell us what kind of injury, but she was injured. Turns out she broke a rib. This means the judges have decided to bring back Comfort, even if to me she is the worse dancer in this year’s competition. She has been less than stellar in her performances, and I don’t see how there could be any improvement. Fox has also announced that Brian Austin Green is a full cast member this season on Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles.

FX has also made some announcements about some of its programming. One of their most popular series, Nip/Tuck is coming to a close in 2011. They are letting everyone know in advance that the show will meet its end. They also made announcements for what is in store in the season ahead for one of their new popular series, Damages. That series is filming its second season right now, and it will return to FX in January of 2009. They talked about the return of one character assumed to be dead following the finale, and the joining of William Hurt to the cast. You can see him this summer in The Incredible Hulk. It is an exciting time for television, and there might be even more announcements made in the days ahead. If there are any more must know tidbits from the TCA’s, they will be here tomorrow!
