- American Idol Judge Randy Jackson has a debut solo album, released through Concord Music Group, which will hit the markets on March 11, 2008. The label: Randy Jackson’s own Dream Merchant 21.
  
  After more than 10 years, American Idol fellow judge, Paula Abdul, will appear on the album with her new recording entitled Dance Like There’s No Tomorrow. Music Club, Vol. 1, Randy Jackson’s debut solo album, will also feature Katharine McPhee and Elliott Yamin from American Idol Season 5, as well as Travis Tritt, Joss Stone, Jason Mraz, John Rich, Sam Moore, Van Hunt, Jon McLaughlin, Keke Wyatt, Trisha Covington, Kylie Dean, Kim Burrell, Three 6 Mafia, Anthony Hamilton, Sara Watkins, Mariah Carey, Barbi Esco and others.
  
  Aside from being one of the judges on American Idol, Randy Jackson is a musician and a Grammy Award-winning producer. He’s also the former Vice President of Columbia Records and former Senior Vice President of A&R at MCA Records.
  
  Mark your calendars for March 8 if you want to get your hands on Randy Jackson’s Music Club, Vol. 1! I plan to check out the new album myself, but I don’t have to mark my calendar to remember the date, because March 11 is my birthday.
